VSS Return Policy for Downloaded Software
This policy applies to downloaded software only. For information on
obtaining a refund for packaged software, see our Software Return
Policy. Should you desire a refund on a downloaded software product, the
following guidelines must be adhered to:

All returns for downloaded software must be pre-authorized
by VSS Software, Inc. (VSS) as described below. Your right to obtain a
refund for downloaded software lasts only for a limited time. Your
request for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (described
below) must be made to VSS within 30 days of the date VSS made the
software available to you for download (the "Purchase
Date"), and VSS must receive, at its offices, your fully
completed and signed Letter of Software Destruction within 35 days of
the Purchase Date. No refund will be made until the Letter has been
received by VSS, or if the time requirements described above are not
met. VSS is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail, delays for
downloading, or other communication system delays.

Products not purchased directly from VSS must be returned to
the place of purchase (Web store, etc.) and are subject to the return
policies of the place of purchase.

All Letters of Software Destruction must have a Return Merchandise
Authorization Number (RMA #) issued by VSS clearly displayed on the
form. To receive a RMA #, contact VSS at 888-732-1176, or e-mail us at
sales@virtualstudiosystems.com.
You must provide sufficient information for VSS to be able to identify
your transaction, such as the VSS order number and/or invoice number
and/or date of transaction given to you when the download was ordered.
If VSS is able to identify your order, and the request is made within
the timeframe discussed above, you will be given a RMA # as well as a
copy of the Letter of Software Destruction ready for completion and
return to VSS.

When making your request for an RMA, please provide VSS with your
e-mail address if you can receive and print a document in Adobe
Acrobat® (or ".pdf") format. If you are not able to receive
the form by e-mail in a .pdf format, you must also provide us with a
fax number or mailing address to receive the form. Remember, no matter
how you choose to receive and/or return the form, you are still
responsible for meeting the limited time rule discussed above. You
must fill out any missing information on the Letter of Software
Destruction, sign and date the Letter, and return it to VSS as
instructed on the form.

When VSS receives your properly completed and signed Letter of
Software Destruction within the timeframe discussed above, VSS will
provide a refund to you of the amount you paid for the software. VSS
will not refund any shipping or handling charges that may have been
charged to you. Refunds will be made in the same manner as you
purchased the product. If you purchased by check, VSS will send you a
check, so please be sure we have your mailing address. If you
purchased by credit card, your credit card account will be credited.
Please allow 4 - 6 weeks for your refund to appear on your account or to
receive a check by mail.
