Kurt's recording gear:  I use Cakewalk with a Lexicon Core 2 audio card.  I have a Roland PMA 5 that I use both as a portable sequencer and sound module for midi.  I have one Neumann TLM053, and access to SM57 and SM58 mics. I use a tube preamp and record guitars direct.  I also have a Fujitsu Stylistic Pen tablet loaded with Cakewalk - I download my arrangements for Sunday services to this and use it as a portable sequencer.  Finally, I use Finale to make arrangements for the band.

Kurt talks about VSS software: I have Lyricist on a laptop that I carry everywhere. As thoughts come to me, I can capture them wherever I am.
