LYRICIST
I just discovered this one of a
kind, user-friendly gem created especially for lyricists. For $39.95, it’s a steal for the convenience this software
offers. The features:
Lyricist organizes
your songs in a catalog by Album and Song Title. Some great features are
being able to pull up any number of songs on the same page, allowing you to view
them all at one time either by tiling or cascading. I’m forever
going back to my old song folder, which probably has over 200-300 files to
search for pieces of lyrics or rewrites of a theme to write a new song. With
these features, I can easily scan and pull what I want from as many files needed
- all found easily with its efficient method of categorization.
Lyricist has
a built-in Rhyme Dictionary, Thesaurus & Spell Checker, and
with each file, a Song Note Dialogue Pad for attaching notes you may want
to write about the song you’re working on. With the Audio/Media Link,
you can link your song lyrics to any audio or media file for immediate location.
No more searching the hard drive for that audio file you needed to go with a
lyric.
Lyricist
saves data in a safe secure database file - on the fly - whenever a user
clicks to any control on the screen. This means that there is never a need to
hit the save button. If you’re a multi-tasking nut like me, that means you
never have to worry again about losing your latest creation when your computer
locks up.
With all that, I can look
forward to more updates soon to come like Song Chord Charting, Melody &
Chord Generator, Contact Manager & Song Distribution Organizer, Verse
Analyzers, and Idea Generator. Wow! Finally, great tools just for
songwriters all in one software package! I just had to share my find with you!
